Disposal of Items

 

The Embassy of Nepal in Brussels invites interested individuals, firms, institutions and other eligible bidders to participate in the public auction through a sealed bid process for the disposable of surplus/obsolete furniture, electrical appliances, office equipment, kitchen items and other miscellaneous assets of the Embassy of Nepal in Brussels.

 

The items listed in Annex-1 below shall be disposed of through auction on an ‘as-is, where-is’ basis. Prospective buyers should submit their quotations using the form provided by the Embassy. Sealed quotations should be addressed to the Embassy of Nepal, Brussels and must be submitted to the Embassy by 16:00 hrs on 9 October 2026. Interested bidders may inspect the items at the Nepal House, Chem. de Putdael 26, 1160 Auderghem at the time and date specified below.

  1. Terms and Conditions
  1. The auction comprises the items listed in Annex-1 of this notice.
  2. All items shall be sold on an ‘as-is, where-is’ basis. The Embassy shall not be responsible for any defect, damage, wear and tear or condition of the items after the sale.
  3. No claim regarding the condition, quality, quantity or usability of the items shall be entertained after the auction.
  4. The successful bidder shall be required to make payment within the 3 days after the final announcement of the auction. Applicable transportation, loading, handling and other costs, if any, shall be borne by the successful bidder as applicable.
  5. The successful bidder shall collect/remove the purchased items from the stipulated premises within 15 days of depositing the bid amount to the bank account specified by the Embassy.
  6. The Embassy reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, wholly or partly, without assigning any reason.
  7. In case of any changes in the bidding process, it will be notified in the embassy’s website.
  8. Further details regarding the bidding form, account details, inspection and collection of items, where applicable, may be obtained from the Embassy during the auction period specified above.
